Everything You Need to Know Before You Travel.

Is there any need to be concerned about COVID-19 during the tour? What safety precautions are in place to protect us?

The health and safety of our guests and guides remain our top priority at Daily Sydney Tours. We operate under a COVID Safe Plan registered with NSW Health and are a certified COVID Safe business. Our procedures include the regular cleaning and disinfecting of all vehicles, as well as strict hygiene standards for both guides and guests. Frequent handwashing and the use of alcohol-based sanitizers are required. We also adhere to social distancing guidelines (1.5m) inside our vehicles and at all attractions. Our driver-guides are only permitted to operate tours if they are in good health and free of any COVID-19 symptoms. Similarly, all guests are asked to complete a COVID-19 health questionnaire before the start of each tour.

➕ What kind of vehicle is used for the tour?

For groups of up to 4 guests, we operate our tours in modern, spacious luxury SUVs featuring multi-zone air conditioning and ample legroom for all passengers. For larger groups of 5–10 guests, we use a comfortable, modern people-mover equipped with dual air conditioning and generous seating space. For very large groups of up to 11 guests, we can arrange a suitable rental vehicle to ensure everyone travels comfortably.

➕ What time and where will my tour start?

Since this is a private tour, you can choose the start time that suits you best. For a full-day tour of 7+ hours, we recommend an early start to make the most of your day. Your tour includes pickup and drop-off from your Sydney hotel, an alternative central Sydney location, cruise ship, or airport.

➕What about lunch and entrance fees?

Lunch and attraction entrance fees are not included in your tour price. This gives you the flexibility to choose when and where you’d like to eat, whether at a cafe or restaurant of your choice. Indicative admission fees based on standard adult rates (concessions apply for children, students, seniors, and families): Featherdale Wildlife Park: $38 (adult), $25 (child 3–15 years) Scenic World: $53 (adult), $31.80 (child) (Prices as of April 2023 are indicative only and may change at any time.) Your guide will be happy to recommend a suitable cafe or restaurant for lunch, depending on your location when you’re ready to take a break.

➕ Can I share the tour with another group?

No, your tour will not be combined with other groups. All tours are fully private and tailored specifically for your group, ensuring a personalized experience.

➕ Can I customise my tour?

Yes! Our tours are fully flexible. We can design your itinerary around your specific interests and preferred pace, ensuring a personalised experience.

➕Do you offer tours in languages other than English?

Our tours are offered only in English & Hindi at this time.

➕ Is the guide's gratuity included in the tour price?

No, gratuities are not included and are entirely at your discretion. If you are happy with the service, a tip is always appreciated, typically 10%–15% of the tour price.

➕ Can you arrange airport transfers to our Sydney hotel?

Depending on your arrival time, your driver-guide can pick you up from the airport and begin your Sydney tour, then drop you at your hotel. If you’d like to do this, you can request a quote for a combined transfer and tour. Please note, we do not offer stand-alone airport transfers to or from your Sydney hotel without a tour.

➕ i am travelling alone - can I still book a tour?

Yes, of course! We do run private tours for solo travelers, this is no problem.

➕ How far in advance should I book?

It’s best to book as soon as your travel dates are confirmed, as our tours often fill up quickly. For last-minute requests, please still get in touch—we’ll always do our best to accommodate your schedule.

➕ Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, you can pay in full with a credit card when booking your tour to reserve your date. Payments are processed securely via Stripe, which accepts all major debit and credit cards from customers worldwide.

➕ I am travelling with a child – do you provide child car seats?

Yes, we provide child and infant car seats free of charge during our tours. Please advise us when booking so we can install the seat in the vehicle before your tour. Under Australian traffic law, children up to 7 years old must be restrained in an approved child or booster seat.
